· Receive and deposit monies for various County departments
· Invest County monies
· Prepare monthly reconciliation of all investments and bank accounts
· Prepare monthly financial support
· Receive delinquent property taxes from local Cities and Townships
· Purchase the delinquent taxes and distribute the monies to the taxing units
· Collect delinquent taxes and maintain tax rolls
· Conduct the tax reversion process with the State of Michigan as the Foreclosing Governmental Unit
· Certify that there are no delinquent taxes on Warranty Deeds and Land Contracts before they can be recorded in the Register of Deeds office
· Prepare tax statements for taxpayers, banks, mortgage companies and realtors
· Prepare supplemental tax bills for homestead denials
· Sell dog licenses and plat books
