County Clerk/Register of Deeds
The County Clerk/Register of Deeds is an elected 4-year term. By Michigan statute, the County Clerk is the 'keeper of records' from Dickinson County's founding in 1891 to the present. Those links can be found to the left. In addition to recording, maintaining and preserving the vital records, the County Clerk oversees County Payroll and Accounts Payable, and processing and maintaining voter registration records.
