Dickinson County services
Generally speaking, a “d
epartment” is one of the key organizations in the county government and has a “titled person” who leads it. A county “agency” typically is an independent organization, or, an organization that is part of a larger department. A county commissioner attends those meetings and reports back to the full county board.
Meetings are the second and fourth Mondays every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Circuit Courtroom of the County Courthouse.

The Finance meetings are the 3rd Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the County Board room at the Courthouse.
County Commissioners serve as liaison members to these other boards, agencies and commissions.
